Last Chance to Volunteer with Law Day in the Schools!

The Boston Bar Association’s 30th annual Law Day in the Schools program kicks off in just two weeks, and spaces are filling up fast.

Law Day in the Schools is one of the most popular public service programs among BBA members. The program gives elementary, middle, and high school students in Boston Public Schools a firsthand look at the legal profession. This year, volunteers will explain the significance of the historic 1966 U.S. Supreme Court case Miranda v. Arizona and expand upon the idea of “Miranda: More than Just Words.”

This year, we have over 50 Boston Public School classes participating in the program, which will reach more than 1,400 students.

Interested in volunteering? We only have a few opportunities left! Please contact Galen Byrne at [email protected] or at (617) 778-1906 to sign up.
